SOMETHING EXTRAORDINARY HAPPENS WHEN WE GET TOGETHER
Focus is our annual church weekend away – and you’re invited! It’s our time to re-charge, re-envision and refill ourselves so we are empowered for the year ahead both individually and together as we continue in our mission of Faith Rise, Church Rise, City Rise.
Over the long weekend our HTB community spend time together with our wider church family from across the network enjoying impactful teaching, powerful worship, delicious food, and having so much fun! A year's worth of friendship can be built over this short weekend.
There’ll be talks and seminars from speakers joining us from across the world, bespoke programmes for Young Adults, Students, Youth and Kids, lots of time to worship and pray, and opportunities to take stock as to how God wants to lead us and grow us in this next season.
There really is something for everyone, and year after year, we have discovered that something extraordinary happens when we all get together.

Focus is a chance for our church network to gather together as one family with teaching, worship and lots of fun activities for all ages.
Not sure what to expect? We're here to help answer your questions!
Where will I sleep?
We will be camping together as a church, with our own City Rise community space to hang out, eat together, and electricity to charge your phone! You can bring your own tent or caravan, or hire a tent through Focus.
Will we be eating together?
YES! We have worked hard this year to be able to provide our own “Half Board” catering package, providing buffet breakfast and evening meals, as well as drinks and snacks.
We will be able to cater for dietary requirements, and there will be community fridges available for personal use.
Eco-friendly disposables will be limited, so please bring your reusable plates and keep-cups.
There are still food trucks, bars and a cafe onsite but these aren’t included in the cost of the City Rise catering ticket.
Catering tickets will be available closer to the time.
How much does it cost?
There are many different pricing options ranging from a free ticket (if you serve on a team at the event) to a true cost ticket of £325 which offers the opportunity for individuals to pay the true cost of attending Focus and therefore helping to subsidise the cost for others.
Check out the Focus website below for all the details.
But we don't want anyone to feel like the cost of the weekend is a barrier to coming. If a bursary would help you, please email focus@smbr.church and one of the team will be in touch with more information.
