What is the Alpha course?
Alpha is a chance to ask life’s big questions and explore the Christian faith in a fun, no-pressure environment. Each session includes a short film which looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation.
Everyone’s welcome – whether you’re an atheist, a sceptic, or just curious about faith.
There is no cost for the course, however there will be a suggested donation for food.
How does it work?
CONNECTION - We start every evening with a time to catch up and chat with others in the group over food.
TALK - Each session includes a 30-minute film. These films explore the big questions of life and unpack the basics of the Christian faith: Who is Jesus? How can we have faith? Why and how do I pray? How does God guide us?
DISCUSSION - One of the most important parts of Alpha is the chance to share your thoughts and questions about the topic, and discuss in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say.
