Safeguarding
City Rise St Mark's takes safeguarding seriously and wants to encourage an environment of openness, security and accountability to make St Mark’s a safe space for all. It is everyone’s responsibility to look out for those in our care and for one another. This is done in a coordinated and supported manner and involves Safeguarding Officers, the Senior Pastoral Staff and the Diocesan Safeguarding Team. Concerns about children, young people and adults at risk will be diligently and promptly responded to according to our procedures, recognising the sensitivity they may hold for those involved.
For any Safeguarding concerns, please contact our Parish Safeguarding Officer on 07485 336281 or email safeguarding@smbr.church.
If you prefer, you can contact the Southwark Diocese Safeguarding Team directly on 020 3874 6743 during work hours or email safeguarding@southwark.anglican.org. If someone is at risk of immediate harm, contact the police on 999.
