Come and spend the year with us at City Rise, St Mark’s Battersea; encounter God through worship and bible teaching, discover and grow in your gifts through practical ministry experience, and be stretched and challenged to build something that lasts.

As part of The Internship there will be an space to access the wider HTB Network for theological study, spiritual disciplines and leadership training whilst having hands on experience throughout the week at St Mark's.

THE TIMETABLE

A typical working week will be based around four days (including a Sunday) at St Mark’s and will look something like this (depending on which stream you are interning with):

Monday: Theological Training & Leadership Development

Tuesday: Ministry Placement

Wednesday, Thursday or Friday: Ministry Placement

Saturday: Day off*

Sunday: Sunday Services & Ministry Placement

*Occasional Saturdays will be required for special events and TOIL will be arranged.

COST:

There is no financial cost to The Internship and St Mark's contribute towards monthly living costs and can assist in finding suitable accommodation.

DATES:

The internship follows the academic year, starting in September and finishing late July. Dates for 2025/26 will be published in spring 2025.

Key conferences and network events are included as part of the internship programme and may include; HTB Network Conferences, Renaissance Conference, Diocesan Training Days and FOCUS.
