God has a call on your life.

If you are aged between 18 and 24, come and spend the year with us at City Rise, St Mark’s Battersea. Encounter God through worship and bible teaching, discover and grow in your gifts through practical ministry experience, and be stretched and challenged to build something that lasts.

As part of The Internship there will be space to access the wider HTB Network for theological study, spiritual disciplines and leadership training, whilst having hands on experience throughout the week at City Rise.

THE TIMETABLE

A typical working week will be based around four days (including a Sunday) at City Rise and look something like this (depending on which stream you are interning with):

Monday: Theological Training at St Mellitus College & Leadership Development

Tuesday: Ministry Placement

Wednesday or Thursday: Ministry Placement

Friday & Saturday: Day off*

Sunday: Sunday Services & Ministry Placement

*Occasional Saturdays will be required for special events and TOIL will be arranged.

COST:

There is no financial cost to participate in The Internship. Successful applicants will be responsible for arranging their own accommodation, and City Rise will help contribute towards monthly living costs. For more information contact hello@smbr.church.

DATES:

The Internship follows the academic year, starting in September and finishing late July.

Key conferences and network events are available to those accepted on the internship programme. These may include; HTB & Alpha Network Conferences, Renaissance Conference, Diocesan Training Days and FOCUS.
